I just came across this interview of FHB and noticed around 09:27 he is not wearing a watch. Doesnt he want to be affiliated to AP anymore? Am I overanalyzing it?

Since he's not wearing anything, I think your over analyzing... And truth is that he indeed is not affiliated with AP any more.

Although I would still think it be very strange if he is already some other brand like a Rolex or something.

I mean it was an interview, so him not wearing a watch signifies that he’s no longer affiliated with AP. Maybe he we wanted to signal that he’s open for a job with a new company.

I want him to go to RM! But unlikely given he said he won't work for anyone ever again, only himself.
