Trying to spot a fake or Frankin 5512 Submariner
I'm looking at a 1962 Submariner 5512. From the pictures it has a 4 Line Neat Font Dial. Does anyone know if that would be original on a 1962 Sub? I thought they came out in the later 60's.

1962 would be gilt-gloss dial and distinctive crown guards. But production years are often misinterpreted, so it would be better to show lots of photos from every angle, including between the lugs and the inside of the case-back. We often get faulty information posted from new members.
For example, if you are thinking there are only 6 digits in the serial, but there is actually a faint "1" preceding those digits, that would change everything. The crown guards on the case will also help us out a lot. So if you really want good feedback, start over again and post lots of information and good clear in-focus photos. And while you're at it, a little introduction to the community wouldn't hurt.
