New and used Rolex on Overstock.com

I rarely go to Overstock.com but the Black Friday specials are starting to hit early, and I need a new area rug….

I noticed that they sell Cartier, so I decided to search for, what else?

To my surprise they have new and used Rolex watches (including Subs and even a 16710!). The prices seemed high across the board, so I’m not biting.

But, I was wondering if anyone knows where Overstock sources its watches. Obviously there isn’t any detail about last service, service dials, polishing, etc.

Not clicking on links myself but I am sure overstock appreciates the free advertising. Drop shipping has been around for a long time just in case you haven’t heard of it.

Yep. At those prices it’s more like “we will source it from somewhere if you are willing to pay this much”

No, I actually have no idea what that involves. I don’t know if they source these from somewhere once an order is placed, if there’s a grey dealer they’re dealing with and they are a front, etc. I just thought it’s interesting how they have a mix of new and old, and I doubt anyone is flipping a new Sub to Overstock.

I think the last thing I bought from them were shearling slippers over a decade ago, so I’m far from a regular customer.

Probably is similar to how jomashop deals with its watches.

Never bought from jomashop but at least their prices show a discount (at least on most watch brands that decrease when sold second hand .

To say they sell Lange watches… the real buying experience LOL

I LOL’ed when I saw the Walmart ads in my watch IG feed for Rolex. Had to screenshot a couple and put on my stories:

I mean Walmart just links to other sellers… they don’t really sell them, just act like the middleman and take a cut . Noticed that the other time when I was looking for rare products, and the Walmart website kept popping up (with ‘out of stock’ though… so not really useful).
