I mean you’re going to wait for it to maybe or maybe not happen and if it does happen you’re going to wait even longer on a waiting list. Get the 116710ln and if there ever is a new version you can trade it in.

Ok then. Plus you can't even get a new black GMT from an AD so why bring up a waiting list. It's all used or NOS now.

There is no 116710 LN pre maxi case.

One must assume you mean the previous 5 digit model which would be the 16710 LN?

Agree

There’s also no maxi case … it’s a supercase

You don't know if that model will ever even come out.
As others already said, buy a 116710LN!

This part. There is no pre super case 6 digit GMT.

I’m confused as well if the OP is talking about the 116710ln or 16710ln??

"2008 - 2012" in his original post says 116710LN to me since the 16710 production ended in 2007.

I'll say this: if the OP's first language is Polish, his English is a lot better than my Polish. I'm inclined to give him a break.

Get a 116710LN from a trusted seller and don't look back. It's a great reference, available, and the price isn't outrageous (right now).

I could be mistaken, but I think he's talking about buying a pre-owned one of these instead of waiting for a new 126710 from an AD.

Agree- this is the reference I think the OP is referring to, and agree that this is the one you want. One of my go-to watches for work or travel- useful complication, and people assume it’s a Sub, if they notice at all!

The next release might be YG GMT with black dial.

I don't think they will have SS 126710LN.

Wait?? For something that may or may not happen? Even if it does….availability / wait time will be ridiculous I’m sure (depending on market of course).
I personally wouldn’t wait for something that “might” happen. Get a 116710LN now if that’s what you’re after

Have you tried on a new Sub (41)? If the GMT does get a case update, it will probably be relatively similar to what the 41mm Submariner uses. Further, IMHO, the differences between the current GMT case and the Sub 41 case are not that drastic (others may disagree), so if you do not like the fitment of the 40mm case, you might or might not feel any differently about the 41mm case. I ask this because it would suck to wait 5 years for an updated GMT case only to realize you don't like it.
