If Mont Blanc is a Rolex

Then Parker is a Seiko

What would
Caran D'ache
Montegrapa
Omas
Cross
Waterman etc.
be ???

Caran D'ache is like Raymond Weil
Montegrapa is like Panerai: big and Italian
Omas is like JLC
Cross is like Tag Heuer
Waterman is like ???

I don't think you can match pen brands to watch brands all that well

No, you did a great job.

How would you rate Pelikan? It seems to be a favorite in TRF.

Bulova, Timex, Hamilton = Parker, Waterman, Cross (you can mix and match)
Ball = Monteverde
Caran D'ache = Omega
Graf von Faber Castell = A Lange & Sohne, or Glashuette
David Oscarson = Franck Muller

Don't think Tudor = Pelikan.
Tudor is more like Montegrappa. Montblanc sold Montegrappa back to its original owners 2-3 years ago so at one stage Montegrappa was a sub-brand of Montblanc.
Pelikan is more like TAG, imho - uninspiring, dependable and fairly priced.
