Sorry mate, but no leather on a sports Rolex. Bracelet only unless it's a SS dive watch, then a NATO is okay. However, go for what pleases you and good luck with it.

It amazes me how so many people don't like straps on "sport watches" when the ultimate sports watch, 18kt Daytona is offered with a strap from Rolex. I think it looks great and I compliment you for giving it a shot.

I can understand when people say it's not for me or I like it but I don't understand when people tell the OP he's right or wrong like there are rules or a code to these watches.

FWIW, and being a Panerai guy I love the look of that and the ability to change up on the fly. I laugh at the notion that people need to keep Sport Rolex watches tough looking but won't even shower with them on.

Great pic and nice strap choice and for the record, I've worn my GMT2C on a rubber strap the last 4 days and don't have any plans on changing back to the bracelet anytime soon.

I like it have been thinking about doing the same with my Plat. Yachtie, I have a navy blue carbon fiber hirsch that might look good. Your strap looks like it has curved ends at the case, where did you find such a strap?

Not feeling it. It looks pretty good, but I prefer the bracelet. Maybe some more shots at different angles would change my mind.
