I bought the Land!
Hi all,
a follow up of my post a few months ago where I asked for an opinion whether to go in for a Rolex or land. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=83401 majority of people in the 'rolex' forum told me to go for land... I took the plunge and bought the Land!. It costed me many more times than a two tone sub would...but now the deeds done and I am wondering when it will be when I buy my first rolex. To cheer me up my dad gave me his near twenty year old Scratchproof/Ceramic link Rado! Boy does the watch look superb. Its a beauty alright and has been only serviced once. But the icing of the cake is it really is scratchproof. Not a scratch on the watch! and the sunlight plays beautifully on it. Its going to get more wrist time than my Tissot till I buy a sub or my first DateJust. TRF rocks. |

Don't listen to JJ. The Rado is a beauty and will serve you well. Land ownership is a great undertaking, and a rugged scratch-proof watch will come in very handy. Good move

Sadh40.....Congrats...... i think this last 12 months has generally been the BEST opportunity in a long time for buying land/property....East OR West!!!
I am sure you will get a great return when the time comes to cash out,and your watch choice options will be even greater because of it!!!! |

Very smart move. They quit making land a few years ago, and is sure to go up in value. Rolex is still cranking out watches by the millions, and will continue for many years.

Thanks guys,
Now the choice has been made and now the rollie is definitely the next one on the list! I love the submariner but I am getting more inclined towards the DJ/DJ II. saving for the beauty has started! |
