My favorite Day-Date dial. Yours?
I think that this one's my favorite. I like the contrast of the added black inlay. I like the meteor as well and appreciate that it is unique. Choices, choices...
What's yours?

I'd tend to agree with you, its a classic watch, and I like a a simple
traditional dial on it, something with just a touch of gold, but nothing too elaborate that would distract from the letting the great lines of this classic watch speak for itself. The Roman dial you showed is very nice, but I'd go even simpler, something like this very old one from the late 1950s. (The pic is from "100 Superlative Rolex Watches" by John Goldberger)

I like almost all of them
but I love my own....although some will say it's "blinged" it's actually quite subtle in the flesh

The blacked out Arabic dial looks incredible in the flesh - saw this dial on a YG DDII at the weekend, really blew me away!
