COSC question on resale

I sold a Blackbird (new modle date at 12) to a guy in UK. I got the watch on trade..I thought everything was compleat. Watch was 99%.(I wore it a few times). The COSC was not there. Now the guy want me to give him 120.00 to get a new COSC. Whats the big deal with this piece of paper. I sold the watch for 3000 Total..including shipping to uk from US What do you think??

did you tell him it was complete? The cosc cert helps prove authenticity and aids in resale. Maybe split it 50/50 with him if he wants money.
