What's the FIRST thing that hits you when you open up the box to your new Rolex? LOL!

That's right, guys.............you've got your new Rolex watch sitting snugly inside its new green box............you open it up............and PRESTO..........what's the first thing to hit you?

It's gotta be the SMELL!!!

Yes, fellas............that SPECIAL smell that can only eminate from a brand new, freshly opened box that comes straight at ya to gently titillate your olfactory nerves!

Gosh, I love that new smell - don't you?

Cheers - JJ

It's not the smell of a new watch, it's the smell of the guy that put the package together.

So you aren't a WIS, you are...........................sorry that will give me 5.

Yes, I love that smell, I think for now on, I will just have to go to the safe and open the boxes I already have, the Rolex smell is far more addicitive and more expensive then the new car smell

The females only put together watches for the european market, then the guys do the rest.

My first thought is "I paid three times the cost of my first new car for that little thing!" Then I go back into WIS mode!

What hits me is my gf's shoe, in the back of my head, with her saying,

'You bought ANOTHER &*%#$@ Rolex?!?'

'This one is for you, honey!'

That new box smell hangs around too - I've got the newer style boxes that are a couple of years old and you still get the smell when you open them(i.e after you pry the sticking box lid open). Maybe the scent can be bottled..Eau de Rollie!

Something is happening at chez Irani. His last few posts have been about "scratching an itch" and that "new Rolex box smell" I see another Rollie on the way for our fun loving Kiwi legend...perhaps it will be blue?

Watch this space - Shieldsy said it first!!!lol
