Internal stress on Rolex motor?

I am curious about something, I run several miles three times per week. I run while wearing my SD. I don’t lift weights with it on that would be stupid. Does anyone else run or cycle while wearing their Rolex?

My point do you feel there could be any harm in doing this? I don’t think there is that’s why I do it. Since there is a lot of knowledge in this forum I am curious if anyone knows facts that would say otherwise.

it is a work watch made for ware and tare thus very sturdy...

Your Rolex watch is built to take most shocks of life,just like many of the other brands of watches.Rolex uses the KIF shock protection for the escape wheel.While most of the other Swiss brands use the Incabloc shock protection and other brands use very similar.And all very efficient in protecting in shocks to the movement etc.That any arm movement etc, and the affect of gravity by moving ones arms is what effectually winds your watch.

I like it quick on your feet. The problem with women is now you have to support two Rolex habbits. My wife has two which I bought as well.

Sure do...and have for a long time. In addition, I've shot everything from a .22lr to .50BMG with a Rolex on and never had a problem. They are truly tough watches. Have no fear.

I still wonder if these watches are bulletproof... They can go through so much and still tick on and on

My mother just took out her 1979 DJ that she didnt touch for a few years... From just shaking the box while lifting it, The watch was already started ticking I can also bet its quite accurate if she wanted to wear it again!

That's what makes them one of the most sought after brands, even among the WIS world. As much as people bitch and moan about Rolex, it is still revered for its ruggedness and durability.

A Rolex is meant to be worn 24/7 and built to withstand all types of activities. Not meant to be kept is a safe for just looking at!
