The pad is a Rhodia and the ink is Waterman blue black.

Thanks for the great review Richard.
Personally if found the double broad a bit scratchy and narrow for my liking but the result from yours looks impressive and stylish. A few weeks ago I got an opportunity at a GTG to try a Music nib (Eddie's Pen) and thought it was magnificent. I wonder if John Mottishaw would change it over for me as I've only dipped the DB in ink without filling it. ![]() The packaging, presentation and attention to detail of the Nakaya's is really excellent. P.S. That grey ink you are using looks pretty cool, it looks like a grey but you said it was blue/black ![]()
