How old to join the Vintage Club?

How old, which serial number or features should a Rolex need to be considered a Vintage Rolex?

Most consider the matte 16800 'transitional', so I guess collectors are on the fence regarding its '"vintageness".

Good question....usually when it comes to cars, it's anything over 25 years old...and anything before 1949 is an Antique. In Rolex's I wear a '85 DJ 2T but really do not consider it vintage.
