Icon5 What Daytona dial is this?

Does anyone have an idea what dial of Rolex Daytona this is? I know it is arabic style dial that comes with WG Daytona only but I'm not sure exactly what type of dial it is. Is it a specialized dial like the mateorite?
I really like this type of Daytona, what do you think?
Please let me know if you have any idea of this.
Thanks in advance.

Icon5 Pics shown

Completely understandable...
Here's the pictures:

What kind of dial is it? Is it WG Daytona with Slate dial? If it is, what year is that model from or what series? Is it still available now, brand new from AD?
Does it come in white gold only? I think I've seen it on a TT Daytona as well...
Any other details of that model will be highly appreciated.

I really love the look of that Daytona and would like to get more information before deciding to get one, if any available...

What do you folks think?

Thank you.

All stainless steel Daytonas currently only come with white or black dials. The watch you have pictured would be 18K WG

Thanks for information. Yeah I noticed it comes only in gold, white gold or two-tone.
Any idea on the production year of that slate dial, or the series (someone told me it was F series from year 2004/2005)?

Is it a popular dial at all among other Daytona's dials? It seems to be a rare breed of Daytona since I couldn't find many of them on the Internet. Unfortunately I fell for it, and it would be the one I'm going to purchase if it's still available brand new on AD...

That beautiful slate dial has been out for only a year or two. It is a standard dial, not extra cost. It has white gold markers, so it won't come on a two-tone YG & SS watch. It is only available on WG Daytonas. The similar dials (ie bold arabics markers with luminous centers) have 18K yellow gold arabics - those are the ones you see on TT's. I don't recall any slate Daytona dials with YG bold arabics.

Wow thanks for the info. So it was only available for 2 years, no wonder the rarity. Is it true that they're of F series which came out in year 2003-2005 (not sure which exactly)?

I guess you're right, I saw a different slate dial on those TT or YG. I wonder if it'll be a sought-after model in the years to come...

Here is a current slate dial with YG stick markers, not arabics, on a TT (should also be available on all-YG):
http://www.rolex.com/en#/rolex-watch...-m116523-0025/
If memory serves, the above dial was available from 2000-present. In fact the Zenith movement Daytona (1988-2000) had a very similar slate dial with YG stick markers (available on TT and all-YG Daytonas) from around 1996-2000.

IMHO, Daytonas will always be desireable.

The dial you started the thread with came out about two years ago and most likely should still be available to be ordered on a new WG Daytona.

Which dial do you think is better? The slate gray above or this silver dial? Just need some opinions...

The darker dial because the numbers look like they have some lume and the silver is kind of weird looking.

I love the darker dial with White Arabics - That's why I chose the dial I did for my DJ. It really makes them pop out!

Go with the dark for sure :)

That's the Daytona I've got, except it's on a strap (116519). I've seen quite a few at ADs in London but none in the wild. I don't think it would be difficult to find one.

If your looking at a WG daytona, you gotta consider the black arabic with red accents. Simply incredible.

Think Dalip has one.

Does the gray slate dial have lume on the markers? Doesn't look like the white state does.

Gray looks better either way.
