Seems like my thread

Was finally heading in the "watch talk" direction I was looking for initially and someone decided to disable it based on a request from one of my critics. Shame they didn't disable the name callers when I was trying to discuss watches. In any case, I'll continue the watch talk as soon as the person who made it impossible for me to reply re-opens my thread. If they want to clean it up and remove the "negative" threads and only keep the watch related threads intact for the sake of thread integrity that is understandable. I'll check back and see when I can post there again, thanks.

I doubt they'll be opening it back up. We can however, discuss watch talk in this thread. So, which YM is your favorite? Mine's the Platinum.

Seems like I missed something before that last thread got closed.?????
So what if he had a bit of an attitude, plenty of people here do. Bragging about this and that.
A new member comes in and people jump all over it. Unbelievable.
BTW, nice collection of watches you have there.
Maybe CREAM should ask for back up photo's of all the "famous" people we know

I'm sure the proper amount of "points" were awarded to the people who broke the rules & antagonized CREAM.

Never been a fan of the YM, but the SD is my favourite due to the absence of the cyclops plus the heft of it.

I myself prefer 40 or bigger diameter watches.

Any Panerai to your collection cream?

BTW, where do you travel that needs watches at separate locations?

I have ambivilant feelings about the Yachtmaster also. I admire it when I see one, but have always stopped short of purchasing one.
My absolute fave is the TT dark blue dial, which I first became aware of on this forum. It's kind of an unrequited love. I go and look at it, mull it over, and then conclude that if I'm going to buy another TT it would be ------ you guessed it. Blue and gold Sub. This is a tough hobby... Larry.

I still find it interesting that Cream's favourite, from his ,large and very complete collection, is the Sea-Dweller.Mine is also getting, more and more wrist time .. A bit different, brutally sporty, yet, very elegant at the same time, with its clean lines .

A new thread for a new idea or opinion, just open one up.

I am sure that you did not mean to come across as arrogant in your first thread. We all have lots of ideas and opinions, hence lots of new threads.

BTW can you give me a lend of the money printing machine when you are finished with it.

I really must have missed something. I don't understand the initial and some of the follow-on reactions to your first message. Enthusiasm has never been taboo on this forum as far as I can tell.

Have you ever seen what I post as pix? The only good ones I ever have are the ones I borrow from eBay. My camera and skills suck!

Now that you mentioned that I saw this amazingly clear macro photo of a Turn-O-Graph on e-scam the other day, so good I was nearly tempted to post it here true

I don't think CREAM is coming back. And I am disappointed. There are threads where he was referred to as a moron, and a punk. He trotted out his watches and someone jumped on him as bringing up "financial" stuff. I never saw any reference to financial anything. He had some testosterone. So what. He is probably an NBA guy or a music guy. He still has standing in my book if he has 30 Rollies.

This is a Rollie forum. IF someone has 30 Rollies, I am interested not only in the watch, but the person. Sorry, but I think it was not he who was the hypersensitive one, but rather some of us on this list. We all know kids who have a lot of testosterone. You gotta give some space and breathe and not react, and let them emerge even if they are flawed in their first entrance.

So I hope he posts again. If not, well, we will go forward to do new things.
