New camera, same gorgeous wife!

Took my new Sony DSLR Alpha 330 out to Legacy Park in KC today to just see what it would do. Here is a couple of samples. I thought they came out well.

Just wanted say thanks again to all of you that gave me some great advice earlier on what to look for in a camera.

Lovely shots mate and your wife is a beauty also
Glad to see you avoided the Canikon offerings and went for something a little different. I only got into DSLR photography about 6 months ago by acquiring a LNIB Sony A200 and enjoy using it very much. I hope to upgrade to a A3** at some point.

How are you finding the Sony?

Saf,

The Sony A330 is excellent in every way. Very easy to use, but I am finding myself outgrowing it after only a few weeks. I am purchasing the Sony SLT 55v that is due out next week.

Reading the reviews on it I found that there was nothing that could touch it in its class. The advantages are too many to list here, but I did play with its little brother the 33v and was very impressed.

A few of the new must have features on 55v are the built in GPS, Phase Focus HD video, and 10 FPS burst shooting.

Post some of your photos sometime or PM me a link to the website where you post your photos. I would like to see what your are doing!

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I do appreciate the comments on the subject matter!

Now if you could only see her heart! That is truly a beautiful thing!

I have to say that the new DSLR cameras enable even the most amateur photographer to do some fairly amazing work. Highly recommended to anyone who is contemplating one.

By the way, I don't know what I did with that last photo in the set. I was fiddling with it on Flickr and it disappeared. Here it is:
