Does anyone have the diamond bezels on their rolex

I was wondering why no one ever puts the diamond bezels on their rolexes to make it bling.

Most diamond bezels are "aftermarket" and void the warranty.
Many of the guys in this forum are sports model crazy, and dislike diamonds in the watch. Rolex does have some nice watches with diamond bezels but the price is unreasonable for what you get.

I do have a DJ with a diamond dial (diamond hour markers) I like the diamonds more than romans after owning both dial types. For the bezel I am a sucker for the fluted bezel.

when i was comtemplating my first rolex purchase i thought i wanted a diamond bezel or diamond dial... but it gets too flashy and its not classy (to me). So i like stuff a bit more subtle.

I would love a DD with lapis dial & diamond markers. But as far as wearing it it'd not me. It would be a safe queen - I doubt my wife would wear it either... Larry.

Rolex DD model 18048

Hi roachkiller1

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have sold all my lovely vintage timepieces and what is remaining is just one Rolex Day-date model reference 18048, which I had tried to sell but there was no taker.

This model comes with the Rolex factory diamond bezel and also factory diamond indices. It is now put in storage and would go to one of my sons, when he is able to appreciate quality watches.

Like what some members have pointed out, with a diamond bezel the watch is flashy and attracts lots of attention when on the wrist. I fully agree.

The diamonds used by the factory are IF and of G color. The mounting of the diamonds on the bezel is absolutely great (compared to aftermarket ones) since it will not 'bite' the cloth when cleaning in, unlike those aftermarket ones. I think it is justified that a Rolex factory diamond bezel is highly priced. Just like all Rolex watches, the factory diamond bezel is also in a class of its own.

For everyday wear, I have my faithful old 1970s Seiko Grand Quartz Day-date in stainless steel.

Unfortunately, both these watches are not collectible timepieces.

Thanks and regards.

My wife's DJ has a diamond bezel and dial, most likely aftermarket but looks cool and she doesn't seem to care one way or the other lol

If I could I would, but it would have to be all Rolex, no aftermarket stuff for me.
Diamonds are cool as hell, don't care what anyone says.

a lot of people like adding custom diamond bezels to there datejust or president. A lot of second hand watches on ebay have diamond bezels. But yes keep in mind this does void the warranty.

What a great picture, proves again that a 36mm DD simply goes with anything.
