PVD in Titanium??

I currently own a PAM 177 and was wondering if the PVD or DLC would work with Titanium case or only S. Steel case only? Did somebody actually tried this?

Yes, PVD does work on titanium. I have two watches with that finish. I would not advise doing it to a PAM (or any other fine watch) however, unless you never want to sell it. In my case, both watches came with that finish.

Other than the weight saving, what would be the point? Do it on a cheaper steel model IMO.

IMO I don't think the PVD or DLC would hold up very well on a Titanium case.

Like Spencer says find a nice steel case to coat.
DLC and PVD is reversible just takes some time and effort.

thanks for the advice.
I love my 177, but wanted something diff. hence the PVD. its light and wears perfectly on my small wrist.

I'm seeing a Ti/SS model for sale on TZ and p.com right now. Looks good, so I'm guessing a Ti PVD is plausible.
