Oris do something different in an incredibly crowded market - they have very original designs.
There's no way you'd confuse an Oris diver with any other brand. I have the 49mm Meistertaucher regulator and absolutely love it. The titanium construction means it's nice and light and very comfortable on the wrist. It's distinctive and has someimpressive engineering with the 1000m depth rating and capsule style case design. They're not for everybody but I rate them very highly.

Funnily enough I've been considering an Oris....
(but decided to keep saving for a cLV). They certainly look very good value for money IMO.

I've owned a TT1 WorldTimer, pretty nice all around watch. It had two movements and it was kinda finicky when engaging the date but once you learned it was easy. The bracelet was really comfortable. The 42mm TT1 design wore smaller than the size, still a substantial watch though. The fit and finish are high quality for the money and represent a good value, imho.
Alas, mine was sold to fund another Tudor. dP

i have 2..the first watch pictured on a rubber strap and I wear a artelier on a croc strap as a daily wearer. The toyota reference was pretty accurate! They are a tremendous value for the money and very different time pieces.

My experience with them is very good. Remarkable quality for that price range, I had a chance to play with my friend`s Oris Jumping Hour recently, and I was quite impressed of finish and overall quality of that timepiece.
Great bang for buck, IMHO!
