Hello to all and thanks for the opportunity to vent. Purchased a new Sub from a AD and now have it in for stopping for the second time. Rolex telling the AD nothing wrong. AD being very nice but can't get the problem to occure in there shop. Intermittenly the watch will stop after being idle for 6-7hrs. Watch is worn every day 10-12hrs, will stop overnight.
Possiably is there a Tech out there with an idea????
Anyone have a problem like this????

Hi Rick, your watch should run for 30 to 40 hours when fully wound up, i cant give you a reason why it stops after such a short period of time, keep on at the AD untill its sorted.

It's been back to Rolex twice, they tell the AD that nothing is wrong.

Your watch may not fully wind itself when worn.

You have to physically wind the watch if you want it to run when sitting idle.

- of course -
Buy a watch winding box.
It will stay active and wound even though it's off of your wrist.

The power reserve on that watch is about a day-and-a-half when fully wound.

Again, sounds like your hoping the watch is to be fully wound by wearing it.

I've had seven Rolexs inc 2 Presidents and 3 Subs, never manually wound any and never had one that stopped. Although both times it happened it was in Feb. when I was at home not active. Lets make a Datona trade.
