Need help with this bubbleback
My buddy who owns a pawn shop called me about this watch today. I think the serial number was 232400 stamped on the case back but I lost the paper I wrote it on but it did date to 1944.
Sorry about the phone pics I can buy it for about $500. Should I buy it only to resell? I have zero interest in this watch other than making a buck if I can. Thank you Doug |

I'd be wary of it. You might be buying a can of worms. More than the dial may be incorrect.

Having come unstuck buying a '1944' Rolex bubbleback I can say that the printing on the face is not Rolex quality, just look at the gap between the e and the t in chronometer. Fake . Don't waste your money.
