Torn between the Subc and Deepsea because of a 1000 Euro
Is worth to pay a little over a 1000 euro more for a Deepsea instead of a SubC ? I found a Deepsea at an AD that is willing to discount it a little but does not want to budge on the price of the SubC . He does spread the payment over 6 months interest free on both models .
I owned and loved a Deepsea for a while but I had to get rid of it when certain events in my personal life imposed that . The Subc will dent my budget a little less , but would the extra 1000 not be worth it ? I mean because the build of that Deepsea and bracelet is a superior quality and it looks more impressive . The 1000 euro aside , I also believe that the Subc might be easier to wear on a daily basis . I do not want to remember what I got for my Deepsea when selling it in a hurry and there are many second hand ones on the market at attractive prices . But I have that "fetish" only wanting to buy brand new watches as I believe that they may carry the bad vibes of the previous owner . I know it's sounds silly but I have that with cars and many other things too. Proof : A house we owned the previous owners got divorced too . The one my sister had the previous owner's wife contracted the exact same cancer . |

Well if you have already had a DSSD, the sub might feel a bit too small for you. I had the new subc, i only kept it for 6 weeks or so, i found it too small, i flipped it for a DSSD and its perfect.

I would say to definitely go with the DeepSea - the LAST thing you want to do is spend that kind of money on a brand new SubC and live with it questioning whether or not you should have gotten the DeepSea instead.
Plus if you already had the DeepSea, and know that you love it, why risk the chance - just save up a little longer and get what you really want. Personally, I like the DeepSea more. It's such a bad-a$$ watch! Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and let us know! |

Thank you , sound advice . It's just that =I want it today = thing . Only a couple of years ago I would have bought either watch without even thinking twice .
Those days are gone for now . I guess I will have to bite it a couple of months more and go for the big one I know I will like as much as I did then . Maybe even more who knows ? |

I would go for the SubC. I flipped my Deepsea for one because I found the weight of the deepsea too much for a daily wear. The Subc is just perfect for me.

Get the best. I started with a submariner 1000 then went to a sea-dweller 4000 now will be going to a deap sea sea-dweller. If I could have started with the deap sea would have. When it comes to this type of quality always go for the best there is.
