Please show me a wrist shot of your Sea Dweller

The look of the SD sans cyclops is really growing on me. I have been reading the comparisons between the 16600 and Subs. The SD is slightly heavier by 12g and 1mm thicker with the crystal. I own the 16610 and 14060 but would like to see any shots wearing the SD. Any comparisons on fit and comfort to the Subs are appreciated.

I don't have any wrist shots of mine, but I have to say that it's really a very personal thing....
I own two Sea Dwellers (1665 and 16600)....
I wear one of them everyday and find them both to be very very comfortable.....
I tried on a DeepSea and although I liked the look, I found it to be WAY to thick for my taste....

The 16600 Sea Dweller is very comfortable and my favorite Rolex. I would highly recommend it...

Nice and crisp on a skinny wrist
Yes it is heavier than the Sub(owned LV and ND) but you get used to it. You actually end up missing that heft when you swap with lighter watches. I'm wearing a Gshock today and I feel like a body part is missing...

It's a little taller than the sub, but no big deal

First of all, you can easily remove the cyclops on your 16610 if it really bothers you. I've been wearing my 16610 w/o cyclops for over 10 years.

In reality the diffs aren't that big between a 16600 and a 16610. The dial of the SD is 1mm smaller while I believe the bezel is a bit bigger, both to house the thicker crystal needed.

The SD sits a bit higher on the wrist.

One difference would be if you have the older 16610 (pre 2000, I believe) if so your watch wouldn't have SEL (solid end links) which might allow for a bit of difference in how the bracelet fits.

Last observation, I have this theory (conspiracy?) that the SD 16600 is one of the most photogenic watches our there so it actually looks more appealing online/on photos than it does in real life! :-)

I've got one, I really like it and it makes for a good EDC piece, partly because my wife hi-jacked my 16610. Like Clay I also had the 1665, but the 16600 makes for a more tolerant piece to bang around on a daily basis IMO.

Deepsea? Milestone piece. Awesome engineering. But it is a bit like using a Hummer as your daily commute car when you live a city and your commute is less than a mile on well-groomed asphalt road! ;-)

PS Unless you have some strong emotional connection to either of the other two one could make the case for selling both and get a SD instead... DS

Good observations. I can't let go of my 16610 for sentimental reasons as it was my first Rolex purchased new in 1998. I'm really liking the clean uncluttered look without the cyclops that the SD offers. Now I just need to decide on with or without lug holes.

Great pics all!

Here's another....

I also have the 14060M and a 16610LV. If you like those two, you'll like the 16600 just as well. Having all three makes for a great collection.
