Purchasing POLAR EXPY II (3186) today...goodbye GMT IIc?
Ok, so I minutes away from purchasing a polar Expy II, m-serial, from DavidSW.... I am going to keep my GMT IIc for now... but as many know, it does not sing to me at all. I may even sell it, as I believed the Expy II will dominate the wrist time... watch should arrive tomorrow.... there will be tons of pics!....
enjoy your friday! |

congrats!! great choice....mine is an m-serial, too.
see how you feel when they are both in your possession, since they are pretty different looking watches, but, to me, the polor is such a nicer watch, i think you could dump the gmtii-c and go shopping for that next one.... |

If the GMT IIc doesn't sing, it doesn't sing.
Congrats on the EXPII and finding what you really want. dP

I got my V series from David as well.
I know what you mean about a watch singing to you. I wanted the Sub for years because of how it looked in the photos but when it came down to buy I never could pull the trigger for some odd reason. The second I put the Explorer II on, I knew it was the one. The good news is that you know where to sell the GMT II easily. |

I'd love an Explorer II, but waiting on the triplock crown and improved bracelet/clasp - likely out after Basel 2011?
