Changing a strap on a Radiomir
Hi all, I'm liking the look of a Panerai for my next watch. Have read up on a lot of material on TRF and think i'll go for a relative clean & simple dial on either the Luminor or Radiomir. I really like the idea of being able to change the straps and almost create a brand new watch as a result.
My question is, how easy it it to change the strap on a Radiomir? Obviously it's easy on the Luminor but the Radiomir's have wire lugs and it's not easy to see how you change the straps. And light you can shed on this would be appreciated. Thanks nick |

Hey Nick...you just need a screwdriver...(1.4mm I believe) - undo 2 screws and pop out the wire ... pretty easy once you've done it once. Just don't take the screws all the way out..they are very small and easy to lose. Not as easy as the quick change strap system on some Luminors but I've found it very easy on my 183....

having had the 210 for a little while now.... i must say i DO NOT like changing straps on a Radiomir. it is time consuming and too much of a hassle. the small screws are annoying

I picked-up a 00183 Black Seal earlier this year; strap changes are quite easy taking about a couple minutes. I have a couple straps on order from BJstrap…Single Row Nile Croc in Cognac & Black Elephant.

It gets easier with each change. I don't sweat it at all anymore.

No sweat. You may want to apply tape on the top of the screws the first few go arounds until you get the hang of it.
