A little hooked on the PO 2209...

Hi guys,

I must admit, the orange 42mm planet ocean hit me like a thunderbolt from clear skies!

I can't really stop thinking about it....

It looks very good IMHO.

Should save money for the new Explorer 2 that I put myself on the waiting list for.

Just to clarify, it's not competing with the EXPY2 in any way, just mentioned it as a reason not to put more money on watches.

I wouldn't hang around, get one whilst you can. Great watch, unbeatable value, and built like a tank - nothing much can compare for the money

I fell in love with the PO when it was introduced in 2005 but could never make up my mind as to what size and which model. The orange is definitely striking but my work demands something a bit more subtle so I did without until last May when I traded for my Liquidmetal.

Maybe I need to pick up an orange model for casual wear.

I too am loving the Orange PO and it was on my shopping list. But after seeing the 42mm PO LM I have to say it is was gorgeous. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will put out a 45mm Orange LM. Otherwise I will go with a black LM.

I've been half-considering an Omega. I'd probably go with a Speedmaster...but these are great watches. I checked one out yesterday when I was in a store buying a rubber strap. It wears a bit big for me...but it's a great looking watch. I'm not sure I could live with the orange long-term...but who knows.

BTW guys where do you get extra straps and bracelet for the PO? I am thinking about the orange leather, rubber and the mesh for the 45mm. Do you guys get original Omega ones or 3rd party? Where can I get it online?
