My new SD is working its way to the top...
of my rotation. I'm not wearing the Sub-C as much and questioning whether to keep the Sub! This is nuts as I bought the SD to be a "beater" and not even a keeper. It was meant to fill a spot temporarily until a Daytona or IWC 7-Day came along. WTF?!
Has this happened to any of you? A watch meant as a temporary toy takes hold of the heart strings? Damn you, Rolex! I was so happy with my less expensive Omegas! Here's the culprit...an A-Series lug holed beauty. Has been tastefully polished, full kit and running at -2sec/day! What's not to like? |

It will end up being your number one, believe me, as one who has been fortunate to own many models, the SD is my favourite.

SD is great, I've actually thought about a Sub-C though because people tout it's comfort. The SD moves around a bit on my wrist.

I know exactly what you mean.
I bought my SD as a beater/knock around watch to give my other's a break. I can not pinpoint what it is but I love this watch. Perhaps the strong, clean simplicity of the SD. I switch to a Nato on occasion and it gives a whole different dimension, not better, but different. the SD is a great watch.. |

The SD's an awesome choice....beater or not. She's a keeper!

I have to agree. My 16660 gets the most wrist time of all of my watches.
