Oh no, I forgot my sub at the beach!
A recent post asking "is it safe to go for a swim in my Rolex" prompted this post.
I went for swim, took my sub off and left it on some rocks, and promptly forgot about it Tide had come in overnight and completely covered the watch, luckily hiding it from view and risking anyone finding it. When I came back at first daylight (and tide was going out) the next morning, I found it!!! Watch was still on the rocks, keeping perfect time. Here's a pic...

I know this is a joke but why would you take off a watch which is meant to be worn in the water???

Wondering if I can send it to Rolex for a service and a free polishing
They may claim it has a modified case

Haha I lost track of where on the forums I was (too early in the morning and w/o coffee yet). I thought I was in general discussions, but clearly I was in the joke section :) Well played!

Yeah. I was about to say. That Submariner doesn't have any reflection on the crystal.
