Finally!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to everyone who answered my questions and provided advice. When it came down to it, the SubC won out over the Milgauss GV. As promised - pictures! I've included pics of my Breitling to show some progression in my collection. Cheers! Apologies for the poor iPhone photos.

I'm a big fan of the Navitimer. Congrats on your pick-up!
I wish more of the face was black on mine. It's a special edition (for the Wright brothers or something) so it has a different face and beaded bezel. |

it doesn't feel too big for me.. I'm used to my navitimer which is a bit larger, much thicker and fairly heavier. What I am getting most used to is the actual size of the clasp.
Also, my lume appears to be more green than blue. Am I colour blind or does it start out this way when the watch is newer or not 'charged'? This watch never even hit the display case and just arrived at the AD today if that makes any difference. |

Best Rolex made, huge congrats.
Your Navitimer is fantastic, I would take one over the Daytona every time.

The crazy part is that you were asking which one to get, the sub clearly trumps the milgauss.

I'm a very happy camper.
I don't know if anyone else has had the same experience, but I find myself liking, not loving the watch. But everytime I look at it, I like it more and more. To the point where I can tell I will love it. It's just growing on me in an exponential way. The details, quality and comfort are all becoming more apparent. Simple things like how the brushed SS makes it discrete and sporty, but the flash of light reflecting off the ceramic bezel or sapphire crystal is enough to catch the eye. |
