Setting date on Sub C
Hello just got my subC for about 2 wks, and the accuracy is perfect. However I have questions about how to correctly set the date.
1. Can I set date between 12+/-3 hours (9 to 3)? I was told by the AD to set date on the bottom half to avoid harming the movement, is that true? 2. I forgot this once and set the date at around 11 midnight but the date dial does not turn (Maybe I was not at the second position yet but I did hear mechanical sound and I was a bit concerned.). I then set the date at suggested time range and it worked fine.. So is it recommended to set date during the bottom half hours? Thanks! |

With Rolex movements you can set the date wherever you like.

Yeh, shouldn't matter what the hour is, just the 1st 12pm and then next day if what you have to worry about.

Only if you are walking forward to keep balance entact. Never adjust backwards while walking backwards!!

You can change date anytime on a Rolex. The assistant got mixed up with ETA movements. Those AD's make you feel so special......
