UK Price increase

Just had a phone call from my AD in York.
UK prices are set to rise by 7% on Wednesday June 1st.
So if you're thinking of buying do it this weekend.

No, it doesn't work like that, Dan mate - the new Explorer II is still retailing at £5190. The Basel pieces had already had the price increase applied to them, this is just the rest of the range catching up

I wasn't aware a firm price had been set, thus assumed the new Exp II would be 'in line' with the rest of the range... £5190 I guess will make it (considerably) cheaper than all other Sport models which will be £5500+.....

Yeah, they had announced all of the new prices at Basel. I'm expecting the Sub C to be about £5300, with the rest clustered around that (GMT a little bit below, the LV maybe £5500). Deepsea will be up to £7000, with the Daytona being the most expensive steel model at £7490

The last one was in Jan 2011 with the VAT increase and the one before that was October 2010

yeah, but will they let you buy at pre-increase prices if you pay the remainder say a month or so from now?

I spoke to then yesterday and they said there was no way they would have any of the Sport models and impossible for them to order in one
