Maintenance Downtime query
Hi, just noticed that when I am about to start my day every Monday morning with a refreshing read of this forum it always pops up a "in maintenance" message and remains so for like 4-5 hours. Is it possible to reduce the maintenance to fortnightly rather than weekly or do it at some more convenient time?:). Maybe not possible because of US sleep timings?
Thanks |

Moved to a more relevant section......
This task is a backup that is performed every week and a necessity to store and archive the vast amount of data! Normally it just incurs a slowdown in operation, however the past few weeks there has also been some behind the scenes upgrading performed and the need to offline the forum is required... We are sorry at this time but hope you understand that this is for the well-being and betterment of the boards!

I would rather it be offline for a couple of hours for routine maintenance, instead of being down for longer due to some of the issues that we use to see here on TRF.
Good work to all involved for keeping this place up and running |
