Finally know what I want - Now how do I get it??

Hi All!

Nice forum you gentlemen got here

If anyone would be kind to share with me some options with regards to what's the most effective way for me to buy this watch, it'd be great.

Omega: Speedmaster Moon Phase - 3876.50.31

My concern is with it being rare (or maybe not in the stainless steel, black dial version, still haven't figured that part out from the research) and with quite a few replicas of it out there floating around.

Also I am considering RF as my source, providing the seller has credible reputation.

Please let me know if you know anyone or have any ideas.

Many Thanks!!

Good choice, that is my pick too for a moon watch.

I just sourced an Omega with a WTB post(not this forum as I am in the UK and mainly this one tends to be USA based),I didn't think it would work but the right person saw the post and sold me their watch, you could also contact the trusted sellers on here and see if they can get one, either a new or used one,I would also contact some ADs too as some have been known to give big discounts on Omega watches, good luck

They are typically seen posted for around 3000-3200 on the multiple forums so just keep your eye out and bargain a little.

Watchmaxx has it new for $4200-ish. Amazon uses them and they've got pretty good reviews, so that's one safe option...this is according to them 22% off of MSRP, but I'd think you might be able to get a bit more off than that, elsewhere if not from them...

I don't know if 4200 is a good price but I mean it is brandnew except you don't get the AD warranty. If you are already losing the AD warranty then might as well buy used for 3000-3200 and they will pop up.

Most online sites give a warranty (watchmaxx gives a two year warranty), so that's one advantage over used...plus, it's brand new!

Send a PM to Father John, he can point you in the right direction. I am sure he will chime in on this thread soon.

I want two things any reasonable buyer would want:

1) Not to overpay
2) Not to get scammed with a fake

Thanks George !

Am I reliable? You might address that question to my parishioners.

But check your messages for info on my longtime favorite dealer. He ships to Canada quite often and is trustworthy enough to play poker with over the phone.
