I don't consider myself a Daytona collector, but....

every Rolex collection should have at least one!

The Tudor Monte Carlo Home Plate top right is just "keeping the bed warm" until my Jean Claude Killy gets back from the "spa"..!

Amazing Mike

May I ask how many watches do you own? I saw the Submariner pictures and I nearly fell off my chair.

I would Really love to know the story behind how and when you started collecting and how you acquired so many pieces

Appreciate that could fill a book, but have a go !,

Why....

Thank you all for your very kind words and tolerance of my show-off pictures!!

My collection stretches back around 23 years (I'd like to say: I'm not that old). I focussed on plexi-glass Rolex sports models, and although I'm not a wealthy guy, I frequently over-stretched my budget to secure a watch. Yes, I'm slightly obsessed

My sports watch collection numbers around 100 pieces. I also enjoy vintage Rolexes... Oysters, Princes, Precisions, etc. There are probably a hundred or so of them.

And yes, there are some GMT-Masters (bakelite bezel 6542s, gilt 1675s, and even a gold nipple dial one).

I have a love/hate relationship with Patek Philippe watches - I own several, the common theme being moonphase watches with additional complications. Sadly, these tend to be expensive, so I ain't got many

MW
