Need a better pick, but it doesn't look good. With the super case this is a GMTII C, which should have a green 24 hour hand and green on the dial. Now, those items could be changed but then its not 100% correct. The other issue I have is with the thin numbers on the bezel, they just don't look right. I'd have someone take a look at it and open the case back.

Edit to add that it doesn't look like the band has PCL's, but that might be due to the poor pic.

I'm not aware of any GMT II C's having the sticker on the back, but I could be wrong. Someone else will have to verify. Either way, the dial and 24 hour hand have been changed or altered. That would be my first question to the seller.

It is very simple with GMT fakes. There is no fake movement for a GMT which gets the hand stack right.
With all of the fakes the hand stack starts with the GMT hand at the bottom, instead of the hour hand.

Can you please explain what a 'hand stack' is? (I'm a Rolex newbie.)

The hand stack is the order in which the hands are placed from the dial to the crystal (glass) They stack up this is why the term hand stack.

In the GMT this starts with the hour hand being closest to the dial. In all the GMT fakes it starts with the 24 hr hand being closest to the dial.

what amount were they asking for? Curious if they were initially trying to scam you, or it was a extremely good price?

First thing I noticed was the red GMT hand, no green font and ceramic bezel ?
And the date looks out if wack, the O ain't lookin good through the cyclops.
Shouldn't it have PCL as well ?
