Would you ever buy a Quartz Sub/GMT/YM/Daytona/Exp 42mm?

Lets say the price is around 2750-3500$ per watch. Would you pull the trigger? Quartz watches are not bad. Omega sell lotta of them :D

Nope. Quartz holds no interest for me beyond the £150 mark

Rolex has made quartz watches in the past and I doubt that the reason you bought your first Rolex was because it wasn't quartz............there are a million better reason for shelling out the money for a Rolex other than its not a quartz watch.

I have Quartz but only to set the automatics to lol

I know most quartz are better at time keeping but I like that fact that I'm keeping the other watches ticking.

Personally I would buy one, were it not for the fact that if I'm spending that kind of money, the last thing I want is everyone thinking that I'm wearing a fake. To most people that don't know anything about Rolex watches, a ticking Rolex is a tell-tale sign of a fake.

I have a quartz that is less accurate than my GMT II. The oysterquartz would be interesting if i had a large collection, but i'm not interested right now.

It would depend on the price. I love my automatic watches but I really have no problem with a quartz movement either. Omega makes both & the quartz sell, so again it would depend on the price.

For me if it doesn't have a mainspring and balance wheel, it is not a watch.

Sure-I'd buy one at the same time as I bought a patek quartz.
Seriously- no I have no interest in a quartz rolex. I think the most I would ever consider for a quartz watch would be a TAG. (I bought one for my wife since she was adamant that she did not want an automatic watch).

No I would not. It would cheapen the brand. I do like the old Oyster Quartz though, as a curious anomaly in Rolex history.

It's not about Rolex brand!
It's about US who are wearing them!

Like driving a convertible RACING car with automatic transmission!

Not in the models that you mentioned. The Submariner, Yachtmaster, Milgauss, Explorer II, GMT and Daytona are all AUTOMATIC watches. The only way you're going to find a quartz model of these is if you buy a FAKE. Rolex made a quartz model a few years ago but discontinued them. There may be quartz models in the Cellini line, but that's it.
