My Deep Sea might have water damage...

I went scuba diving in the Marinara Trench (in Italy) yesterday and unknowingly dove down to 3,901m And to make it even worse, when I resurfaced I noticed that my crown wasn't screwed down Any advice from the experts here on the forum would be greatly appreciated

Well let me congratulate you on being the first human to scuba to -3900m .... I am amazed you did not succumb to the pressure --- you must be working out in the gym quite a bit...

What's the point of this thread??? But then again, I have seen pages upon pages on "Can I boil my Rolex?" type threads....

By the way the DeepSea can dive to over 4000 meters but i believe the reason for damage might have been the unscrewed crown Superman

Actually the deepest I dove with my Submariner was to a depth of 140ft, no worries.

When they come up with the technology to SCUBA to 4000m and I should get the urge to try, the Deepsea will be at the very top of my list.

I kinda noticed that as well. But did you also notice those of us who own
a Deep Sea don't get defensive or offended at all. I think the watch speaks for itself. I for one always thought that a "Rolex" given its reputation as tough and durable had the dimensions and stature of a Deep Sea before I ever even knew what one was. I was actually surprised when I first held and tried on a Submariner that the "legend" was so refined and elegant. Not the beast that I had envisioned. So I bought both. The Beauty and the Beast!
