Daytona purchase
Hello Everyone! Thinking of purchasing new 18K white gold daytona meteorite face with black strap. Do you think this watch would be a desireable daytona in the future?

Well i am not sure but i dont like the way it looks. I prefer the white dial daytona. I think it's more classy and elegant.

Although it sure is a nice watch, it will never be as desirable (in terms of demand and re-sale value) as the SS Daytona 116520 or even the previous version of it (16520). IMHO the SS Daytona is still the most desired of ALL current Rolex models. The Milgauss (when it eventually is availible!) just might be a tough rival to the SS Daytona, though. The other meaning of "desirable", the "looks" of the gold Daytona with meteorite dial: Well, it is always a matter of taste what one thinks it "desirable" or not.

If you desire it, go for it, however if you think it will be a collectible item in the future, no one knows. People's tastes always changes.
