Posting Pictures on TRF

I have been a member of TRF for some months now and I believe it is time to learn how to post pictures on the site. I know there are links to instructions because I have seen them somewhere on the site, but I can't find them using the search area. I am probably using the wrong words to describe what I am looking for. If there are easier to understand links because they have been refined over the years, please let me know.

Therefore, I am asking mods or members to provide me a link which I will save until I learn how to use the picture posting process. Please be kind - I am old and when it comes to using PC's "I are Stuped!!"

Best to all,

J. Alan

Easiest way is by using Photobucket and just copy the link into the thread.

As Thomas said, copy the link. It's the IMG link so the bottom one of the options on photo bucket. So just select, copy in photo bucket and then paste into the text on TRF.

I used to use tapatalk on my iPad, but I think it's been disabled due to security issues. I better learn to use photobucket.

Does anyone know why lots of the photobucket images show that they have been deleted on here? Is it a fault with the system? I haven't used it.Cheers

It's just people deleting them in photobucket which then means the link in TRF links through to a non existent photo.

So useful if you want to pull photos at a later date from TRF or any other forum from your own photo bucket account.

Easy peasy...there are a two places where TRF picture posting guidelines are explained...
As a url link
As an inserted image
To add a picture as an attachment, just scroll down to the Attach Files box and click the "Manage Attachments" button. Choose a file from your PC and click Upload button.

Here is a link from this forum on posting pictures..It's posted in the FAQ area~!

Personally, I prefer to use Photobucket, as it reduces image sizes automatically..
