Panerai 112

Hey guys and gals... What do you think of the 112? Thinking about adding this to my collection... Thinning down the collection a bit after adding the AP and am wanting to keep something in the Pam line in my collection... Love the sandwich too...

So what do you think... A keeper? Worth a look? Nah, pass and get something different... Help me out

Love the 112 but unlike many of the die-hards prefer the seconds on the 111.

Congrats on the AP Diver! Did you sell your PAM 233? If so, why? I'm considering that one & could use some feedback.

112 is nice, sure, but I prefer the sausage dial and solid back of the 000. If you're going to go base, might as well go all the way.

Or......eat Raman noodles for awhile and hold on to the 233.

Amen to that!  Keep the 233. It's the ultimate Panerai in my opinion.

The 112 is nice but the 233 is an awesome watch (I'm a bit biased I know). It's got everything I want in a PAM. I sold it once...I won't sell it again.

112 base is amazing! I just missed one the other day. I'm actively looking for one to replace my 210. Good luck Adam.

Just got a 112 from DavidSW and absolutely love it. It's not as heavy as the 312. And looks better on my 6" wrist!!!

i like 112 better than 000.. i've owned 112G painted/sausage which is better than the 000 and well? the sausage dial may look better at first, but for me it gets boring real quick. while the sandwich dial may look a bit plain at first, but it grew on me, loving it.

for the little price difference from 000 you get: better decorated movement and exhibition back. go for 112.

PAM 111 all the way, it has enough simplicity and the seconds at 9 offsets the crownguard real well IMO

Hey Adam, I thought you have the 312? I don't own any pam yet but after seeing the 312 on your wrist been wanting one. Don't know to much about Panerai, but isn't the 111 and 112 modify eta movement? I was looking at those models and the radomir 210 also, then found out the movement wasn't in house like the 312 or 337. Is it a big deal cause they do cost more. I see alot of people make a big deal with movements from other brands but not panerai, but lately finding myself wanting a pam so bad. Should I just get the base models and save some money cause they do look similar?

i really like the 112 but couldnt decide between that and the 000. In the end I could of got the 112 for less price than the 000 but went for the 000 as it just sang to me.

I have it on now, and have just put a red gator strap on it. So I say 000!

112 all the way. I also have a PAM 351. The SS 112 is close to the same weight and it seems 1/2 the thickness.

I've owned a 112 a few times in the past, and as nice as they are I don't think I could get one after owning a 233 (which I currently own). To me they just lack any detail and are too plain. Yes that may seem the point of them as its a base model but I just tired of it really quick. The hands seem cheap and the cheap Unitas movement although nicely decorated isn't anything special. I think you'd be better getting a used 312 which has a lot more going for it than the base models.

This may help if you are debating between sausage and sandwich.

112 is a winner. 000 is a winner.

Key is that base is ace!
