Some more Exp-II

Do you know this man wearing a white face Explorer-II ??

His name is Ed Viesturs, from the US of A.
He's one of the few ( the first American ) who have climb the 14 highest peak in the globe ( above 8000m ).
He also climed six times Mount Everest !

Well I guess he has the perfect watch for its expeditions.
By the way he is a Rolex ambassador !

Who said I need this watch ??

more infos here : www.edviesturs.com/

Cheers / Pierre

I have read his Autobiography. Good Book.

He has a small part of it about Rolex.

He was going to Rolex USA HQ, based on some contacts, to see about Rolex sponsoring some of his climbing expeditions (being that int he past Rolex has sponsored many expeditions). Several of his climbing buddies chipped in and bought him an Explorer II prior to his meeting with Rolex USA Executives. Thought it would be better for him if he went to the meeting wearing a Rolex. At the end of the meeting they thanked him, said his past expeditions and climbing feats were fascinating, and said they would consider a possible partial sponsorhip, but could not promise anything.

Well, then several weeks later he gets a call from Rolex. They stated that not only do they wish to sponsor him, but they would like for him to be a Rolex Ambassador as well!
