quick question
Anyone know if Rolex made a TT Sub with an acrylic bubble crystal instead of the sapphire one? What would the model number be?

The first sapphire crystal saw its light in 1974, and the TT Sub Date was introduced in 1983, featuring a sapphire crystal.

Like Bo says, no TT. They did make a gold 1680 though.

Rats. The TT sub will be my next watch. Just don't care too much for the crystal. Guess I just wanted to eat my cake.
