A suggestion....

Ahem.... Well, DESPITE the fact the you mods and I have had our... er.. differences... I hope you'll consider what my idea is.....

I suggest that there be a method of identifying mods that are currently on line.

This would be very helpful in case one of us wanted to get in touch with a mod for something that is not serious enough (or a violation) to use the "report" icon, but an item we'd like attention to as soon as possible. In my case, I (like a Dorklehead) posted a thread in the wrong area. If there was a mod on-line I could just PM them, tell them about my Dorkleheadness, and situation resolved.

I started to look through threads and saw posts from lots of mods, but could not find one currently on line; so sent a PM to Paul (offline) in the UK. If there was some way of seeing which mods were available, it would all be taken care of without ever having to bother someone in a different time zone. Maybe the list of members on line, on the bottom of the main page could have all mods that are currently on line in red... ? Perhaps a separate listing....? Or maybe a: "Connect to a mod" button.... (?). Those last two ideas might be kind of over-kill, I like my first suggestion the best, just trying to offer possibilities.

If there is already a method of identifying which mods online, then I admit to even being MORE of a Dorklehead and if you will kindly show me how, I will tell Jocke he is smarter then I am....

Thanks,

The mods love to use the offline stealth mode I think!

I believe Paul if you click on the Report Post, this will go to all mods and whoever is online will tend to it.

Just a few thoughts anyway.

Understood... But I thought that was more for a violation or inappropriate behavior...? Not really for a.. "routine" request...(?). I'll be glad to use that method, just don't want to abuse the.... (what I thought to be a) "911" service.

The stealth mode is a mod's only way of protesting about not being paid since 2006.

I was fast asleep dreaming about Welsh sheep at 4.33am when your PM was sent, Paul.
