Rolex Day Date 1803 and 1810 : Info please !
Gentlemen,
Model 1803: Year 1968 There is a scratch on the glass (I have to put it online as a zip file since I can't resize it. .. ) Model 1810: Year 1964 I made an agreement to buy this beautiful (in my eyes anyway) Day Date model 1810. Could you get me some info to see if it is original. The seller mentioned that the bezel was changed during the years. For me not a problem since I don't like the original version. Thanks Have a nice weekend, Kingair |

Looks like hands and dial have been replaced along with the bezel as stated.

I finally bought my first Rolex, a YG DD 1810
My first Rolex !
We'll I bought the YG Day Date 1810 on monday. The 1803 was nice but I preferred the 1810. I really liked this watch and been checking others for several weeks. Actually months and reading all post on this forum. It took ages for me,comparing the models / price The hands and dial on this 1810 have been changed during the years. I know not 100 % original . . . Maybe someday I'll update it back to the original shape. Yipee ! My wife has the Yachtmaster 29 mm Stainless Steel/Platinum already for years and I really couldn't decide what I was going to buy. I was first thinking of a Yachtmaster 40 mm but somewhere in my hart there has always been the DayDate . . . So my next upgrade will be the YG President Bracelet. But I still have to decide without or with hidden clasp. What is your favorite ? If someone has a YG President for sale . . . let me know I'll keep you updated on this 1810 when I receive it. It is on it's way from the USA to Belgium. And hopefully it arrives . . . Have a nice one The DD rookie |
