When did Rolex Stop Producing Gilt Dials on 5513s?

Hi All - I am trying to define the approx serial range when the last gilt dial 5513s were built.
I have a matte 1.76 mil 5513 with II67 on the inner case back. I have seen 1.5 mil gilts from 1966.
Did any gilt dials make it to the 1.7 mil range?
Thanks
Russ

Russ a quick check of the VRF dial archive shows gilt and matte dials produced with 1.5 mil serials around '66 for the 5513. This probably represents the time they transitioned from one to the other. Hope this helps.

Thanks John - I viewed VRF dial archives and saw the gilt 1.5 from 1966 but not the matte.

That's a nice one Pete, you seem to be quietly accumulating a few gems these days
