Well, in less than a week............

My Explorer II has become the tool watch that it was intended for.

While splitting some logs, this happened.

At least I no longer have to treat it with kid gloves

Look at the bright side. At least nothing happened to you. The first scratch is the hardest one to take. After that you say what the heck it's just a watch.

I wonder how ridiculously overpriced that bezel is if you wanted to fix it. Probably $1200 or higher...

my first major scratch on my dd came when the door slammed on it in immigration court hitting bezel under the six. I'm proud of that mark now

And in 30 years with a few more nics and scuffs it will still look awsome. Don't worry and enjoy it

Now you have made it truly yours. You will look at that scratch in a few months and be able to laugh. Trust me - I know.
