Which of the 2 US brand do you prefer?

In terms of design, quality, price point, accuracy, value etc....

I prefer Ball, just ordered one from my AD yesterday.

Ball is a good company and very easy to
deal with if you have any issues.

Hamilton is owned by the Swatch group, it is not a US Company

Another great US Company is Kobold

Unfortunately, Hamilton is owned by Swatch and a US brand in name only. Ball is a great company with some nice pieces.

Both make great watches. Hamilton make some very nice pieces, but if it came down to it, I'd pick Ball.

I can't comment about Ball as I have no experience with them but I did buy a Hamilton Jazzmaster Automatic Chrono for my dad and it has been great. No issues at all so based off that I would recommend Hamilton.

I own watches from both companies.
Ball gets my vote as the preferred brand.

I think the gas tubes on my Ball Fireman II are excellent and the ETA movement must be well 'worked' by Ball as it is one of the smoothest ETA movements to wind and set.

Both are great brands to me but I prefer Hamilton's models, they fit my lifestyle and my tastes better.

I have both....It all depends on the style you want. Both my Hamilton's are from the Ventura line, both the classic and the XXL. and I got them for the retro look. My ball is the Engineer Master II world Time. All of them are awesome, but I wear the ball more often.
