Icon10 Would you wear two watches at the same time

I think its cool to have a daytona on one wrist and a sub on the other wrist. I'll try it this weekend.

Funny thing: This is not even the first thread here on the subject.

The answer is still no. Unless you are Hunter S. Thompson or Fidel Castro.

If you do wear a watch on each wrist.....at least set the time to another timezone.

Who needs a GMTII when you can just wear one time zone on each wrist!

Apparently this guy (not sure if you're familiar with this soccer legend) did it for that reason, one for his native Argentina and the other for wherever they're traveling at. But then again I wouldn't put it past him to do anything unconventional.

Absolutely not unless it was for a professional purpose such as diving, flying, etc.

Did it once. Wore one watch to travel and bought the other watch on my holiday. Didn't want to check one in or leave it in an over head storage locker for 8 hours so I put them both on for the airport and the flight only. This was just for safety of both of the watches. Was traveling with a lady friend who knew why I was doing it and I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Would I do it in any other circumstance though ? No.

several times when I had bought a new watch, I moved the "old" to the other wrist, and was sporting 2 until I get home - which may be a few hours or so.

I've done it at watch get-togethers and on some days during a period of time where I served as head fine watch consultant for a high-end retailer carrying more than 30 fine and haute horlogerie-level timepiece brands...was definitely a conversation starter in that specialized sales environment, so had its place. On the street, day-to-day, I didn't do it...and wouldn't, as I feel it seeks the wrong kind of attention, looks boastful (even if your intentions are anything but), and simply makes one come off like a naff weirdo of sorts.

Then again....In apparent contradiction of that last statement, I DID do it a couple weeks ago after getting a new watch in trade and receiving my AP 15300 back from its Clearwater service on the same day. Wanted to ogle both for the evening, but couldn't make up my mind which to take as I headed for the door. So...you guessed it, both wrists got adorned. I was, however, wearing a heavy winter jacket so the only one who knew of this madness was me. Meanwhile at the cafe, I could steal glances at either wrist discreetly as I craftily nursed my caffeinated beverage....

One thing is clear: when you get the point you wear more than one at any time, you've really jumped the ship and are a true WIS nutjob. Guilty, I suppose.

Did it today when I turned my Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow in to my AD for servicing. Then there was only the Hulk left.

I tried to not get noticed

I do that at home to keep one other watch wound up. Not in Public....

one of my friend who's a serious vintage collector does that all the time.

he loves his watches and wants to enjoy 2 at the same time

Famous astroboy Buzz Aldrin loves to wear two watches at the same time. You can search it on the web, he has a lot of photos taken with a watch on each wrist.

Here is a link from another forum but I don't know if it is okay to post it here.

In general I agree with all the no votes, however if Buzz Aldrin wants to do it I think he's earned the right to follow his own fashion sense.
