My Watch, Wife's Car

Here, the DDII & CLS 550, Launch Edition.

For those who are bored, I am sorry; I lack a terribly creative, artsy mind. So while I try to bring you new content, it's really just the same ol' same ol. Oh well. Have a great weekend!

EDIT: For those who have already looked, I am adding some more pictures of the CLS from different angles. Cheers!

Nice pics, looks like you can either have the car or the watch on focus, and the other slightly blurred, lol. Typical of the iPhone camera

Great pictures doctor! Now what about you open that hood and pose the watch in the motor, that would make some amazing pictures!

Until a year or so ago I would have agreed. However I prefer the latest 5 Series to the current E Class by a long shot (previous versions of each were the exact opposite) and once the 6 Series four door (just made it to the States recently) gets a V8 I think it can give the CLS a run for its money. Then again, I don't know much about the mechanics or how they drive; I drive an '07 Lexus and will have that thing for at least another five years.

Regarding styling and comfort, undoubtedly. Regarding driving enjoyment, the M blows the CLS out of the water. The CLS is the nicest birthday present I've bought my wife, so far...

I know it's not bigger or more luxurious, but it's great for my young family. The wife and I are talking about building our dream home in about 10 years, age 45 or so. However, I've never really understood what 'McMansion' means. Can you enlighten me?

I agree about the CLS, S, and SLK series styling, however I prefer the 5 and 3 series. The ride and power of this CLS are HUGELY improved from the prior generation, I must say. However, I'll take my M cars ever day!

I'll see what I can do, but the engines on all my cars just have plastic coverings over the entirety of the motor so guys like me who can afford them but have no earthly idea how to work on them don't mess things up too bad in there.

Ahhh I get it! I knew that CLS looked familiar! I saw a lady at the supermarket who couldn't be bothered driving home, left her CLS in the parking lot to hop in her helicopter after doing groceries! Was that Mrs. Dr. JBA?

I love the black wood grain. I had an e350 that I sold last year with the same color wood that I miss alot. I do not miss servicing my old Benz though. Man they show no mercy on your wallet. Mercedes needs to jump on the band wagon like BMW and include service for 4 years.

Like the CLS. If/when my fiancé and I have kids and we have to get a 4 door sedan and get rid of the SL550 it will be on the radar. We will probably go with something simple like a Tahoe or Yukon but if a car a CLS or S550 it will be if a MB. That won't happen for many years so who knows what they will look like then.
