I am debating between Sub date and Exp II right now. Will see what AD can do for me on pricing.

You can't go wrong with a sub, just need to decide whether you need a date complication or not

Unless you need a GMT function, I would get the Sub ND for my first Rolex.

Sub date. I'm deciding on my first Rolex as well. I really liked the look of the Explorer II until I tried it on.

My advice. Wait until you're SURE. THEN buy.

They are both great watches... Try them on....one will sing to you.... If you still can't then sub date...timeless classic!

I agree with waiting until you decide. It's your first one and it's not a Timex, so letting others pick may not be the best way to go. But if you insist, definitely a TT Sub date.
